About Paragon

Built by practitioners. Trusted by executives.

Paragon Advisory was founded on a single conviction: mid-market companies deserve the same caliber of security leadership as the Fortune 500 — without the overhead that makes it inaccessible.

Our Mission

Security leadership that scales with your business.

The security challenges facing a 200-person SaaS company are not materially different from those facing a 2,000-person enterprise. The regulatory expectations are the same. The threat actors are the same. The board's questions are the same.

What differs is access to expertise. Paragon Advisory closes that gap — providing the strategic security leadership, compliance readiness, and executive communication capabilities that mid-market organizations need to compete, grow, and protect what they've built.

How We Work

Principles that govern every engagement.

Precision over volume

We take on a limited number of engagements at any time. Every client receives senior-level attention — not a junior analyst with a checklist.

Business-first security

Security exists to protect business value. Every recommendation we make is grounded in risk economics, not theoretical best practices.

Accountability without bureaucracy

We operate as an extension of your leadership team — with the authority to drive decisions and the discipline to document everything.

Clarity at every level

From the SOC analyst to the board of directors, we communicate security in the language that moves each audience to action.

The Team

The team behind Paragon Advisory.

Co-Founder & Principal Advisor

Travis Ross is a cybersecurity and business resilience leader with more than a decade of experience helping organizations understand, manage, and reduce risk. Throughout his career, he has advised executive teams, built cybersecurity programs, led governance and compliance initiatives, and helped organizations align technology and security investments with business objectives.

Prior to founding Paragon Advisory, Travis held leadership roles across a variety of industries, including construction, technology, financial services, government, and defense. His experience spans cybersecurity strategy, risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, regulatory compliance, cyber threat intelligence, and enterprise resilience.

Travis believes that cybersecurity is fundamentally a business discipline. Technology, security, and operational resilience exist to support business objectives, protect critical operations, and enable sustainable growth. This philosophy serves as the foundation of Paragon Advisory's approach: helping organizations identify what matters most, understand the risks that threaten it, and build practical programs that strengthen resilience.

As a trusted advisor to executives and business leaders, Travis specializes in Business Impact Analysis (BIA), operational resilience, virtual CISO services, cyber risk management, governance, and compliance strategy. He is known for translating complex technical risks into clear business decisions that executives can understand and act upon.

At Paragon Advisory, Travis works with organizations that want more than compliance. He helps leaders build resilient businesses that can withstand disruption, protect what matters most, and confidently pursue growth.
